Section 6 – OEM Names, Trademarks, Part Numbers and Product References
Important OEM Notice: CSC Tools may reference original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”), manufacturer names, brand names, trademarks, trade names, equipment models, machine models, part numbers, serial numbers, specifications, or other manufacturer information throughout our website, product listings, quotations, communications, and other materials.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all OEM names, manufacturer names, trademarks, trade names, equipment models, part numbers, and similar references are used solely for identification, reference, comparison, cross-reference, and compatibility purposes.
Use of an OEM name, trademark, model number, or part number does not imply that CSC Tools is affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise associated with the referenced manufacturer.
All trademarks, trade names, product names, logos, model names, and other proprietary marks remain the property of their respective owners.
A reference to an OEM part number does not necessarily mean that the product being offered is manufactured by the OEM.
Unless a product listing specifically identifies a product as genuine OEM, the product may be an aftermarket, replacement, compatible, remanufactured, alternative, or third-party manufactured product intended for use in place of, or in connection with, the referenced OEM product.
References such as “fits,” “for,” “compatible with,” “replacement for,” “replaces,” or similar terminology are intended to describe the intended application or compatibility of a product and do not indicate sponsorship, approval, or endorsement by the referenced manufacturer.
Section 7 – Product Fitment and Compatibility
Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is appropriate for their particular machine, equipment, application, or intended use before ordering.
Before purchasing a replacement part or equipment-related product, customers should carefully review all available information, including:
- Product or part number;
- OEM reference number;
- Manufacturer;
- Machine make and model;
- Serial number or serial-number range;
- Dimensions and measurements;
- Product specifications;
- Configuration;
- Application; and
- Any other compatibility information provided.
Product photographs alone should not be used to determine fitment.
Equipment manufacturers may use different components, specifications, or configurations within the same machine model or model year. Manufacturer part numbers and specifications may also be superseded or changed over time.
If you are uncertain whether a product is correct for your application, please contact CSC Tools before ordering.
Providing a machine model, serial number, photograph, existing part number, measurements, or other identifying information may help us assist you, but any recommendation based on information supplied by the customer is dependent upon the accuracy and completeness of that information.
Section 8 – Quotes, Parts Requests and Product Sourcing
CSC Tools may assist customers with locating products or obtaining pricing from manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other sources.
Submitting a parts request, quote request, product inquiry, or similar request does not create an obligation for CSC Tools to locate or supply the requested product.
Quotes may be subject to expiration dates, supplier availability, freight charges, manufacturer price changes, minimum order quantities, lead times, and other conditions.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations do not guarantee inventory availability until an order has been accepted and processed.
Section 9 – Special-Order and Non-Stock Products
Certain products may be specially ordered, manufactured, configured, cut, sourced, or otherwise obtained specifically for a customer.
Special-order, custom, made-to-order, non-stock, or manufacturer-direct products may be subject to different cancellation or return restrictions.
Where applicable, those restrictions may be disclosed on the product page, quotation, order confirmation, or otherwise communicated to the customer.
Customers should verify product specifications and compatibility before ordering special-order or non-returnable products.
Section 10 – Shipping, Freight and Delivery
Shipping charges displayed during checkout may be estimates based on available product and shipment information.
Certain products, including oversized, heavy, unusually shaped, palletized, truck-freight, or less-than-truckload (“LTL”) shipments, may require additional freight charges.
Where a freight deposit or estimated freight charge is collected at checkout, the amount may not represent the final transportation cost.
If additional freight charges are required, CSC Tools may contact the customer before shipment to obtain approval and/or payment of the additional amount.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and may be affected by carriers, suppliers, manufacturers, weather, transportation conditions, availability, or other circumstances outside CSC Tools' reasonable control.
Risk of loss and title will transfer as provided by applicable law and the applicable shipping terms for the transaction.
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon receipt and report visible freight damage, shortages, or shipping discrepancies as soon as reasonably possible.
Section 11 – Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of an order.
We reserve the right, where permitted by law, to refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order because of product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, supplier restrictions, shipping limitations, or other legitimate business reasons.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue an appropriate refund for the cancelled portion of the order.
Once a special-order, custom, manufactured, or supplier-committed product has entered processing, cancellation may not be possible.
Section 12 – Billing and Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, contact, and account information.
You are responsible for ensuring that email addresses, telephone numbers, billing addresses, shipping addresses, purchase-order information, and other information submitted to CSC Tools are accurate.
CSC Tools is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.
We reserve the right to verify account or payment information where reasonably necessary to process an order or prevent fraud.
Section 13 – Returns and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the CSC Tools Return and Refund Policy in effect at the time of the applicable transaction.
Certain products may be non-returnable, including some special-order, custom, electrical, opened, installed, used, manufacturer-direct, or otherwise restricted products.
Return authorization may be required before returning a product. Products returned without authorization may be refused where permitted by our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable return requirements before purchasing products for which fitment or compatibility is uncertain.
Section 14 – Warranties
Products sold by CSC Tools may be covered by warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.
Unless CSC Tools expressly provides a separate written warranty, CSC Tools does not independently extend or modify a manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty eligibility, duration, coverage, exclusions, and remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms.
CSC Tools may reasonably assist customers with manufacturer warranty inquiries but does not control the manufacturer's warranty determination.
Installation, modification, misuse, improper application, normal wear, improper maintenance, or use inconsistent with manufacturer instructions may affect warranty eligibility.

Certain products, information, services, tools, or resources available through CSC Tools may originate from third parties.
We may provide links to third-party websites for convenience. Those websites are not necessarily controlled by CSC Tools.
CSC Tools is not responsible for the content, policies, accuracy, availability, security, or practices of independent third-party websites.
Customers should review applicable third-party terms and policies before conducting transactions directly with a third party.
Section 16 – Customer Accounts
Customers may be permitted to create or use CSC Tools customer accounts.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by law.
Account features, including order history, requests, product recommendations, equipment information, documents, pricing, or other information, are provided for convenience and may change over time.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue account features.
