Deckmate RDM-5 Rub Rail Folding Ladder

DeckMate was designed to provide safer, more convenient access to trailers and help reduce unsafe climbing practices around commercial vehicles. Its unique hinge design helps minimize pinch points, while anti-skid steps, rubber stoppers, and a durable powder-coated finish contribute to a more user-friendly design.

For flatbed trailers, DeckMate hooks easily onto standard rub rails. The hook-on design helps secure the ladder to the trailer for improved stability during use. For vans, straight trucks, and dump trucks without rub rails, an optional bolt-on mounting bracket (P/N 127RDM2) is available. The bracket mounts approximately 2.5 inches away from the trailer and is designed not to interfere with doors or deck plates.

Built with durable steel construction and a 375-pound capacity, DeckMate is designed for demanding commercial applications. Weighing less than 25 pounds, it provides a balance of strength, portability, and ease of use. At 18 inches wide and 53 inches tall when deployed, DeckMate offers convenient access to trailer decks and loads. When not in use, it folds to approximately 30 inches for compact storage and transport.
