Do I need a KNAACK replacement key, cylinder, or latch?

If the lock is intact and only the key is missing, a key or lock-code path may be enough. If the lock spins, sticks, has been drilled, or the lid will not latch, review the cylinder and latch hardware too.

Start with the box and lock details

• Close photo of the lock face and any code markings.

• Description of whether the lock turns, sticks, spins, or is missing.

When a replacement key may be enough

A key may solve the issue when the lock face is clean, the code is readable, the cylinder is not damaged, and the latch still moves correctly. This is common when a crew loses a key but the jobsite box is otherwise in good working condition.

When the cylinder or latch should be checked
